How much and how often should you use the product? Paracetamol plus tramadol tablets are taken orally. Your doctor will inform you of the right dosage or number of capsules you should be taking each day based on your age, overall health, and medical conditions. Never use paracetamol plus tramadol tablets in larger amounts or for longer than prescribed. Inform your doctor immediately if you feel an increased urge to take more of this medication. NEVER share paracetamol plus tramadol tablets with another person, especially one with a history of substance abuse. Misuse of paracetamol tramadol can cause addiction, overdose, or even death. Stop taking other opioid medication when taking tramadol. Paracetamol plus tramadol tablets can be taken with or without food but take it the same way every time. Swallow the tablet whole to avoid exposure to a fatal overdose. Mechanism of Action Tramadol is a kind of opioid agonist. Tramadol works by changing the way the brain senses pain. It is similar in structure to endorphins, which binds to receptors and decreases the pain signals the brain is sending to the body. Before using this medication notify your doctor if you have or are: Severe asthma or breathing problems A stomach or bowel obstruction(including paralytic ileus) If you have recently used alcohol, sedatives, tranquilizers, or narcotic medications If you have used an MAO inhibitorin the past 14 days (such as isocarboxazid, linezolid, methylene blue injection, phenelzine, or tranylcypromine) Breathing problems, sleep apnea Liver or kidney disease Urination problems Problems with your gallbladder, pancreas, or thyroid A stomach disorder Mental illness or suicide attempt Seizures have been reported in patients taking tramadol.
